I lived on a private road growing up, so we had to chip in with our neighbors to hire a snow plow service in the Winter. In general, snow removal is provided for public roads by the public works department, though. But some of us with long driveways may still have to hire snow plowers depending on your location. How about you? Do You Hire a Snow Plow Service? Yes – I hire snow plowers for my private road. Yes – I hire plowers to remove snow from my driveway. No – Public works has me covered. No – We don’t really get snow where I live.
